LONDON (JT News) – Last year, 4,504 children under the age of one were sexually exploited in the UK, according to The Sun, a leading British newspaper. One child girl is sexually abused in every seven minutes. Developed country United Kingdom, the incidence of sexual violence is increasing day by day, which proves that society is deteriorating in terms of morality. The UN human rights body has also expressed concern over the report.
Police in the UK have registered more than 51,000 cases of online child sexual abuse in the past two years, and this year the number has risen to a staggering 57 per cent. There have been 449 cases of sexual exploitation of minors on the online black web. Figures obtained by the NSPCC under the Freedom of knowing Act show that boys are four times more likely to be sexually abused than girls. More than 8,000 sexual offenses were reported against 14-year-olds. A total of 12,374 sexual offenses were recorded against children under the age of 10, while 449 children had not yet celebrated their first birthday and were sexually harassed.
Peter Van Les, chief executive of the NSPCC, said the crisis of sexual exploitation of children is intensifying. Thousands of children and young people are behind the figures, which could have devastating effects on the lives of those affected. He said immediate action was needed to stop the abuses. The figures are from across the UK, but Greater Manchester Police are not involved, they did not provide statistics even under Freedom of Information.
A 17-year-old girl has made the horrific revelation that she no longer wants to live here. She was sexually abused during the lockdown. The NSPCC is urging the government to publish its strategy for tackling child sexual abuse, announced by then-Home Secretary Sajid Javed in June last year.
