Britney Spears appealed U.S. court not to appoint her father as a guardian

NEW YORK ( JT News) – American pop singer and actress Britney Spears, 38, has asked a U.S. court not to appoint her father as her guardian. Britney Spears’ father, Jamie Spears, has been her legal guardian since 2008. A US court has appointed Britney Spears’s father as her guardian after her mental condition deteriorated in 2008. The actress suffered a mental breakdown when her second marriage ended and she was not handed over her two young children.Due to the grief of not having children, the actress had suffered from mental problems and with it, mental problems began to grow.

Due to growing mental problems,Britney Spears’ attitude towards the public and fans had become inappropriate, even when she used to do strange movements during live performances. Her father James Spears and lawyer Andrew Walt have been judging the actress’ wealth, health, mental state, relationships and every aspect of her life for the past 12 years. Britney’s patrons did not stay high. Her lawyer also resigned last year, after which the court appointed Juddy Montgomery as caretaker chief for a short period, ending his term before August 25 this month.

The case was taken to the Supreme Court in Los Angeles, California, before the expiration of the term of Britney Spears’ patron saint. The first hearing was held on July 22 last month. According to the Associated Press (AP), Britney Spears filed a lawsuit in court on August 17, alleging that her father, James Spears, was not appointed as her guardian. Court decided that her father should not be appointed as her guardian. Instead of making any accusations against her father in her application, Britney Spears requested the court that she no longer wants James Spears to be her guardian.

In her petition, the actress made it clear that although she wanted to have Judy Montgomery as her guardian, this did not mean that he would now look after all her affairs. According to the showbiz website Variety, the singer has been paying her father up to US 130,000 annually to fulfill the responsibilities of the patron saint. However, the year 2018 Britney Spears’ patronage fees and other legal costs reached 11 1.1 million. It is believed that Britney Spears began singing at an early age and released her first music album when she was just 18 years old which became popular as soon as it arrived.

Britney Spears married her childhood friend and classmate Jason Allen Alexander in 2004. However, a few days later, they legally annulled their marriage, but they later formally divorced. A few years later, He married Kevin Federline for the second time, with whom he had two sons, but the couple divorced in early 2008, after which the singer began to have mental problems.
